The Lighthouse on Cape d'Or Review
Before automation, two lighthouse keepers manned the light on rocky Cape d'Or, and their cottages have been transformed into an excellent restaurant ($$; closed Wednesday) and a small inn with unparalleled views of the Minas Basin. Guest rooms are basic and only one has an en suite bath, but there's a welcoming common area with a breakfast bar, books, games, and a small refrigerator. Although getting here is a bit challenging—follow the 6-km-long (3.5-mi-long) road (locally known as the Cape Road) off Highway 209 from Advocate Harbour then descend a steep gravel walking path (locally known as the Road to Whistle—the wild beauty repays your effort.

I am going to be traveling in Canada this summer, and need a Canadian SIM card. In the US, I have been using TMOBILE prepay, and it's quite expensive, imo. Read more
