Springhill Miners Museum
Springhill Miners Museum Review
Site of several tragedies, the Springhill coalfield gained international attention in 1958 when a "bump" trapped 174 miners underground. Today you can descend under safer circumstances at the Springhill Miners Museum. Some of the guides are retired miners who offer firsthand accounts of their working days.
