Fodor's Review

The University of St. Anne, founded in 1891, is Nova Scotia's only degree-granting French-language university, so it shouldn't be surprising that Acadian studies are a major focus. The on-campus Acadian Interpretive Centre and Museum, whose exhibits provide an overview of Acadian culture and history, is part of the larger Rendez-vous de la Baie Cultural and Interpretive Centre (23 Lighthouse Rd., Unit 1, 902/769–1234, www.rendezvousdelabaie.com). The Rendez-vous

de la Baie also includes an art gallery, performances spaces, and a utilitarian Internet café.
