Whitman Inn Review
You can go wild without sacrificing creature comforts at this friendly inn. Park proximity is the big draw, but there are indoor amenities, too (a pool, and a billiards room among them), should the weather not cooperate. In addition to cozy guest rooms, the century-old farmhouse has a two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room, and private entrance. The small restaurant ($$) serves breakfast and dinners. Picnic lunches can be made on request.
