Fodor's Review

It's said that Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. was often a guest here during the prohibition era, when 13 cell-size rooms shared a single bathroom—if so, he wouldn't recognize the luxurious lodgings of today. Spacious and furnished with antiques, the rooms all have private baths now. One suite has a microwave and a refrigerator, and both suites have whirlpool tubs. The main-floor parlor, filled with books, adjoins the bright dining room, and a sunny veranda allows for outdoor lounging. In addition to a hot breakfast, the rate includes afternoon snacks and passes to the EmOcean Spa lap pool.
