Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia

Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia Review

The Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, in Westphal (a neighborhood of Dartmouth), is in the heart of the oldest black community in the area. The museum, library, and educational complex are dedicated to the preservation of the history and culture of blacks in Nova Scotia, who first arrived here in the 1600s. The center holds an annual celebration of black culture, music, and food in October.
