Grenfell Handicrafts

Grenfell Handicrafts Review

Training villagers to become self-sufficient in a harsh environment was one of the British missionary Wilfred Grenfell's aims, and a windproof cloth that they turned into well-made parkas came to be known as Grenfell cloth. Here you can purchase it in the form of mittens, coats, and tablecloths embroidered with motifs such as polar bears and dog teams. The shop also stocks other handicrafts, most of them locally made.
