Tuckamore Lodge & Country Inn Review

About an hour from St. Anthony, this Scandinavian-style cedar lodge with a lofty ceiling is a luxurious base from which to explore the natural bounty of the area. Lunch and dinner (think corn chowder, cod fondue, and chocolate macaroon pie, for instance) are offered (C$20 for lunch; C$40 for dinner), and the inn is licensed to serve alcohol. Activity packages include fishing, whale- and iceberg-watching, wilderness adventures, and snowmobiling. There are five rooms and three suites in the lodge and four rooms in the pine A-frame country inn.
