Colony of Avalon Review
The major ongoing Colony of Avalon archaeological dig at Ferryland has uncovered the early-17th-century colony of Lord Baltimore. The site includes an archaeology laboratory, exhibit center, gift shop, and museum, period gardens, and a reconstructed 17th-century kitchen. Guided tours are available.
