Sugar Hill Inn Review

Host Vince McCarthy's culinary talents and educated palate—he imports Old World wines and Italian olive oil, buys his fish fresh from the fishermen, and grows his own asparagus and herbs—have earned this inn a reputation for fine wine and food. All the food, including box lunches and Continental breakfast, is exceptional. Large windows in the guest rooms and public areas let in lots of light, and the warm pastel decor keeps the spacious, uncluttered furnishings from feeling spartan. Rooms vary, and one suite has a private patio. The inn is quiet and relaxing; with all this, it's no surprise that most guests stay for three nights.
