Happy Valley-Goose Bay
Happy Valley-Goose Bay is the chief service center for coastal Labrador. Anyone coming to Labrador to fish will probably pass through here. The town was founded in the 1940s as a top-secret air base used to ferry fleets of aircraft to Europe and is still used as a low-level flying training base by the British, Dutch, and German air forces.
