Savour the Restaurant Review

Accomplished young chef Alex Haun and his wife have transformed a modest house on the edge of town into a stylish restaurant in which to present his creative cuisine. Haun offers fixed-price three-course ($38) and six-course ($60) meals, based on what's market-fresh each day, and the fun part is that you show up and eat what he has chosen to cook that day. Typically, this will include nicely balanced dishes of some compexity, such as seared Fundy yellow-fin tuna with herb risotto, beet gastrique, buttered zucchini, sugar snap peas, cauliflower smear, savory foam, and beet powder. Local and organic ingredients and fair-trade imports reflect Haun's commitment to environmental issues. Savour's popularity is such that reservations need to be made at least 48 hours in advance, and might need two weeks in high season.
