Fodor's Review:

Nothing has changed much at Le Paris since the Poucant family opened it in 1950. And why should it? Every city needs a faded bistro with big tables, age-dimmed paint, and honest, soulful French food like grilled boudin (blood sausage), calves' liver, and roast chicken. It's the kind of place that makes you want to take your shoes off and relax, and maybe ask the regular at the next table what he recommends. If you do, chances are he'll suggest you start with the brandade de morue -- a kind of spread made with salt cod, potatoes, garlic, and cream -- spread on little pieces of toast. And to finish? How about stewed rhubarb or île flottante (meringue floating in a sea of custard)?
