Aldo Bensadoun opened his first shoe store in 1972. His shoe empire now includes more than 600 stores across Canada, operating under the names Aldo, Simard et Voyer, Globo, Stoneridge, and Transit. Aldo also sells handbags, leather apparel, sandals, and backpacks.
