Inaugurated in the 1840s as the city's principal public market, this neoclassical building now houses boutiques that showcase Québecois, Canadian, and First Nations artwork, clothing, and furniture. Don't miss the Institut de Design Montréal Gallery boutique. It's full of intriguing little office and home gadgets that make unique gifts.
