Fodor's Review:
The Bay is a descendant of the Hudson's Bay Company, the great 17th-century fur trading company that played a pivotal role in Canada's development. La Baie has been a department store since 1891. In addition to selling typical department-store goods, it's known for its duffel coats and signature Hudson's Bay blankets, with handsome stripes of red, green, and white.
