Tucked away in a quiet part of the village, this friendly boutique hotel offers gracious service and one of the area's best values in luxury accommodations. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with soft neutral tones, custom-made cherrywood furnishings, and original artwork. All units have balconies and fireplaces, and there's a shuttle to whisk you to the nearby slopes. With a Javanese theme, the full-service spa is among Whistler's most exotic; it claims to
be North America's only authentic Indonesian-style spa. Elements is a great grazing restaurant.

We only had one night for our visit to Whistler, so we wanted a hotel close to everything. The Summit was it. It's a fantastic location right in the middle of the village and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. The service was top notch and the rooms were wonderful. My only complaint was that the in-room fireplaces resembled more of a fireplace video on tv more than a gas fireplace. But the subtle flickering of the "flame"
added to the ambiance of the room. I would choose it again in a second.
