Fodor's Review

This luxury hotel has not only a prime location on the edge of the village but also a long list of upscale amenities that will make you want to stay here. The two-story lobby is dramatic, and rooms are chic and cozy, with earthy color schemes, gas fireplaces, extra-deep tubs, and exceptionally comfy beds. The 1,400-square-foot, split-level suites are great for families: each has a full kitchen and a loft bedroom with a whirlpool tub. The hotel's large and top-rated restaurant has an open kitchen and fantastic oversized windows. The spa, with 25 treatment rooms and a mountain-view lounge, offers facials, body wraps, and holistic therapies such as herbology and acupuncture. You can even rent New Balance shoes and apparel (C$5) if the fitness/jogging urge strikes and you don't come prepared to meet it. The Fire Rock Lounge has jazz entertainment on the weekends, and is a mellow alternative to rowdy après-ski venues.
