With the very lively Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub on the premises, this hotel tends to attract the active set, most of whom seem to spend their time on the large deck cheering on skiers as they reach the bottom of the slope. The very comfortable studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites are all self-contained, self-catering units with extra pull-out beds or sleeper sofas so you always can fit one or two more people. Its sister property, Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre, may not be "on" the gondola (as locals say), but it's central, and a more boutiquey alternative.
