Zip-lining and Canopy Tours in Whistler

Wildplay Element Parks. This self-contained adventure center runs skyline zip-trekking tours on a forested mountain, 10 minutes north of Whistler Village. There are also tandem tours, which let you fly alongside a friend—or your child. The longest line at Cougar Mountain is 1,500 feet with a 200-foot vertical drop. Each skyline run is connected to the next by a trail, and one 150-foot suspension bridge. Ziptrek Ecotours. In a rain forest between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, Ziptrek offers three tours ranging from three hours to nearly five hours. None of them requires any experience, although if you're afraid of heights you should know that the full course includes a heady zip over a canyon far, far below you. (The company claims to have the "longest, highest, and fastest zip lines in North America.") With runs ranging from 200 to 2,000 feet in length, this is a heart-thumping experience worth splurging on for the whole family.
