Markus' Wharfside Restaurant

Markus' Wharfside Restaurant Review

Two art-filled rooms, one with a fireplace, and a small patio overlook Sooke Harbour from this former fisherman's cottage. The European-trained chef-owner makes the most of the local wild seafood and organic produce, much of it from the restaurant's own garden, with such made-from-scratch dishes as seared scallops with olive and preserved lemon tapenade, grilled lamb sirloin with peppered balsamic glaze, and the signature Tuscan-style seafood soup.
