Fairburn Farmstay and Guesthouse Review

This 1896 manor on 130 pastoral acres is the centerpiece of a historic farm, Canada's first water-buffalo dairy, and a destination for lovers of terrific local food who gather here in summer for Saturday cooking classes and long Sunday lunches on the veranda. Overnight guests in the cozy but simply furnished meadow-view rooms are treated to an organic farm breakfast and, on Thursdays to Saturdays, dinners of homegrown fare. A 1930s workers' cottage sleeps five, though rates here don't include breakfast.
