Fairburn Farmstay and Guesthouse Review

This 1896 homestead on 130 pastoral acres is the centerpiece of a historic farm, Canada's first water-buffalo dairy; kids, in particular, enjoy watching the milking. Overnight guests in the cozy but simply furnished meadow-view rooms are treated to a hearty farm breakfast. A 1930s workers' cottage sleeps five, though rates here don't include breakfast. Proprietor Maryann Hartmann grew up on the farm; she and her husband Brett are now raising their own family here.
