The food's as no-nonsense as the name at this funky little Downtown barbecue corner that dispenses with the niceties of table service and plates. No matter—the overflowing pulled pork, brisket, or smoked chicken sandwiches served on butcher paper are hearty and delicious. Add a side of beans or cole slaw, or, for a heart-stopping mashup of Southern 'cue and Canadian home-style cuisine, there's also pulled pork poutine. Beer, cider, and iced tea help wash it all down. Watch for the mobile Pigmobile at events around town or parked at the food truck "court" behind the Royal BC Museum.
