This Victorian B&B, built in 1906, is painted the deep pink of the "Painted Lady" variety of Sweet Pea flower—and the guesthouse is just as charming inside, with a gracious front parlor, cozy fireplace, and early 1900s furniture. Most of the handsome rooms are furnished with antiques; two larger rooms have gas fireplaces. All the bathrooms have been recently renovated, and each has a mural of one of the heritage homes in the surrounding residential neighborhood. The inn is a two-minute walk from Robson Street and five minutes from Stanley Park. The owners also have a suite in a modern building next door; it's ideal for families and couples looking for weekly lets. Pros: Great heritage interior, quiet residential location, free use of mountain bikes, private patio garden. Cons: Furnishings a bit precious.
