Moda Hotel Review

Across from the opulent Orpheum Theatre, it would be easy to bypass this century-old boutique hotel—which would be a shame, because renovations have restored some of its original architectural features, including recessed ceilings, gold-painted sconces, and the lobby's 1920s-style black-and-white tile floor. Rooms are minimalist, modern, and comfortable. Be sure to ask for the quieter back-of-house units overlooking a parking lot; the hotel sits at the intersection of two busy transit arteries, and cars rumble into the early morning.
