Fancy an Erotica Roll (avocado, salmon, tuna, crab, and cucumber with mayonnaise)? How about the Miss Piggy (bacon, scallops, asparagus, roe, and unagi [eel] sauce)? Or perhaps a Popeye Roll (spinach with peanut sauce)? Billing itself as Vancouver's "funkiest place for Japanese food," this dark loungey joint is a sushi bar gone wild. You can get noodle dishes, curries, rice bowls, even more conventional nigiri (small pieces of fish on rice), but most diners come for the madcap maki (rolls). From the weird and wonderful food to the artworks inspired by Andy Warhol and Japanese manga, to the music that ranges from loud to louder, this place is just plain fun!
