Fort Langley National Historic Site of Canada

Fodor's Review:

Built by the Hudson's Bay Company in 1827 on the shores of the Fraser River, this fort is a fine example of an original fur-trading post. Amid a mix of reconstructions and original buildings, costumed interpreters share history, anecdotes, and everyday dramas of the pioneering way of life that helped ship furs to Europe, cranberries to California, and salmon to Hawaii.

  • Cost: C$7.80
  • Open: July and Aug., daily 9-8; Sept.-June, daily 10-5
