The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art

Fodor's Review:

Vancouver's new aboriginal art gallery, named after one of B.C.'s pre-eminent artists, Bill Reid (1920-98), is set to open on May 10, 2008. Reid's legacy of works includes wood carvings, jewelry, print, and sculpture—his jade sculpture The Spirit of Haida Gwaii is featured on the Canadian $20 bill; you can see the actual sculpture on the departure level at the Vancouver International Airport, where it's a popular rendezvous point.
