This 1930s former sports pavilion with two verandas and a fireplace is surrounded by gardens, tucked between Stanley Park's tennis courts and putting green. Chef Karen Barnaby's food, including fresh oysters, grilled ahi tuna steak with a green-peppercorn sauce, and corn-husk-wrapped salmon with a maple glaze, is flavorful and unpretentious.
