Surrounded by gardens, this 1930s former sports pavilion with a fireplace and two verandas is tucked between Stanley Park's tennis courts and putting green. Chef Karen Barnaby is a bit of a local celebrity. Her food, including fresh oysters, grilled ahi tuna with a green-peppercorn sauce, and cornflake-crusted salmon with bacon mashed potatoes, is flavorful and unpretentious.
