Attached to the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue (a conference center), this all-suites hotel exudes a New York-modern, almost art deco, chic. The striking marble-and-cherrywood lobby soars three stories high. The suites aren't large, but the minimalist blond furnishings, efficient layout, and floor-to-ceiling windows in most rooms create a sense of space. The hotel's restaurant, Manhattan ($-$$$), is hidden away from the madding crowd—its fixed-price (C$40) "global unlimited consumption" menu features tapas from all over the world. Pros: Central location, great restaurant. Cons: One-way roads and current transit construction make getting here by car a bit of a headache.
