"Small plates and big glasses" is the motto at this stylish tapas- and wine-focused restaurant, with romantic low lighting. More than 35 wines by the glass (plus more by the bottle) complement the inventive designed-to-share dishes. There's a wonderfully crispy duck confit served on a frisée salad with warm bacon dressing, hearty wine-braised short ribs matched with macaroni 'n cheese, and an assortment of cheeses from B.C., Québec, and beyond. Save room for dessert, perhaps the decadent bittersweet chocolate torte or the goat-cheese cake with sour-cherry compote.

My experience was very positive. I dined with my girlfriend who has some food allergies and preferences (no meat or shellfish). All of the staff showed finesse, professional knowledge and a warm, friendly approach. The small plates are fun and different and packed with flavour. The 3-course menu is a steal at $38. per person (The main courses range from $22-$31, so with an appie and dessert, you're getting a good deal) We were treated well, as was everyone around us, all in all a wonderful experience, we will return soon.
