Century Plaza Hotel & Spa Review

Full kitchens and an indoor pool make this 30-story downtown high-rise a good family choice. The contemporary marble-tile lobby doesn't convey much warmth, neither do the predominantly taupe and mushroom tones. All the amenities are here, though, including a highly rated spa with lots of facilities like steam rooms and an ozonated pool. The pricier one-bedroom suites are enlivened with French doors and spalike bathrooms. Corner suites have balconies, and north-facing rooms above the seventh floor have mountain and ocean views. The hotel is also home to Yuk Yuks comedy club, and on most Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant clears some of the hardwood floors for dancing.

    Good hotel for families

Great hotel for families with children because it has a fully equipped kitchen and a lot of space to spread out. The location is good for being close to Robson and Granville, but a bit far from Stanley Park and the English Bay. Good value available on Hotwire.com. The cafe downstairs has good options for breakfast and there is a MarketPlace IGA available near by for snacks.
