Buchan Hotel Review

On a tree-lined residential street a block from Stanley Park, this 1926 pension-style hotel vies with the Sylvia Hotel as one of Vancouver's best values. Popular with cyclists thanks to its bike storage and low-traffic location, the Buchan also provides free coffee and tea, a lounge with a fireplace, and ski storage, but no elevator. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with old-fashioned radiators. Rooms without baths have hand basins.
