The staff prides itself on attentive service at this classy, old-world-style boutique hotel with luxurious touches. Decor is defined by opulent brocade fabrics, plush seating areas, and ornamental lighting fixtures. Most of the guest rooms are small suites with sitting rooms; the two penthouse units have 24-foot ceilings and wraparound terraces. The Copper Chimney Restaurant & Bar has a hip bistro flair. The hotel has a tiny gym, and for those needing something more, guests do have access to the extensive facilities and pool at the adjacent YWCA for a nominal daily fee. Overnight parking is expensive ($38) but will give you peace of mind; the cheaper lot opposite has minimum security.
