Hotel Le Soleil Review

At this classy boutique hotel, the intimate fireplace in the neoclassical lobby and the vibrant gold-and-crimson fabrics in the guest rooms—most are small suites—radiate warmth. Luxurious touches abound, such as 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets and marble bathrooms. Two penthouse suites have 24-foot ceilings and wraparound terraces. The staff prides itself on attentive personal service. The Copper Chimney restaurant adds a New York–inspired bistro flair. The hotel doesn't have a pool or fitness facilities, but you have access to the extensive facilities at the adjacent YWCA.

    “Perfect but One Thing”

We fell in love with this hotel as soon as we entered our room. Very clean, nice, modern, very comfy bed & pillows, 2 flat screen TVs, a clean sofa bed, AC, friendly and helpful staff. Free internet connection, too. But there was no signal in our room, so we had to use a cord provided by the hotel for free. We stayed for 2 nights.

The only issue is the parking fee, it's CAD$22/night. Quite expensive just for parking, not to mention the tips to the guys who helped us with the valet. Anyway, we'll come back here again when visiting Vancouver.
