Bin 942

Bin 942 Review

High-energy murals and music keep things lively at this tiny tapas bar that stays open until 2 am (midnight on Sunday). The real star here, though, is the food. From the Kobe beef meatballs with black truffle sauce to the duck confit infused with Asian five-spice powder to the kalamata olive hummus served with Navajo fry bread, the chef creates some of the most eclectic small plates in town. Fun is also part of the deal: the chocolate fruit "luv" fondue, for example, is designed for two and comes with a paintbrush. Most of the excellent affordable wines are available by the glass.

Great tasting tapas, fantastic service, and a tab you can afford. Don't be afraid to ask your host for help and leave room for dessert.
