Fodor's Review

Northern Chinese dishes are the specialty at this modest and, yes, relatively peaceful, storefront eatery. Particularly good are the hand-pulled noodles that the cooks knead and stretch in the open kitchen, and other good choices include the mustard-seed vegetable salad (crisp shredded vegetables fired up with hot mustard), Szechuan green beans, and cumin-scented lamb. Vegetarians have plenty of options, including many of the dumplings. They'll make beef with broccoli or kung pao chicken if those are your thing, but the helpful staff is happy to guide you to more authentic Mandarin fare.
