Farmers' Markets in Vancouver

Vancouverites who are passionate about locally grown food flock to the city's weekly farmers' markets, which are also wonderful spots to put together a picnic lunch or track down a gourmet gift. Look for locally made cheeses, honeys, and jams, freshly baked breads, and homegrown raspberries, blueberries, or other seasonal fruits.

West End Farmers' Market: Saturday 9 am to 2 pm, June to mid-October (Nelson Park, 1100 block Comox Street, West End)

Main Street Market: Wednesday 3 to 7 pm, June to early October (Thornton Park, in front of the VIA Rail Station, near the Main Street SkyTrain Station)

Kitsilano Farmers' Market: Sunday 10 am to 2 pm, late May to mid-October (Kitsilano Community Centre, West 10th Avenue and Larch Street, Kitsilano)
