This 120-acre organic farm and education center on the road to Mount Maxwell has been developed on one of the island’s oldest homesteads. Accommodations include a traditional farm cottage, a cozy sleeping cabin, and an original two-bedroom log farmhouse. Country-cottage decor, including a claw-foot tub in the farmhouse, features throughout. The house and cottage have full kitchens—all the better to cook up the basket of farm-grown fruit, vegetables, and eggs you can have waiting on arrival. The sleeping cabin has access to a shared kitchen and bathroom; it’s a good budget option or as extra space for groups. Foxglove Farm is surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected fields and forest.
