Inn at Tough City Review

Vintage furnishings and First Nations art make this harborside inn funky, if a bit cluttered. The name is derived from Tofino's old nickname, when life here was pretty rough and ready, though it certainly isn't any longer. Guest rooms have stained-glass windows, hardwood floors, well-chosen antiques, and decks or balconies. Several have fireplaces and views over Tofino Harbour and Clayoquot Sound. The hotel's water-view restaurant, Tough City Sushi, uses fresh local seafood.
