Okanagan Wine Country Restaurants

Old Vines Restaurant Review

This contemporary eatery at Quails' Gate Winery is open throughout the year, making it a good choice for off-season visits. When the weather is fine, you can dine on the patio overlooking the lake. Menu choices are a balance of seafood (such as steamed West Coast mussels or steelhead trout served with sauteed mustard cabbage, bacon, and smoked cream) and meat (braised wild boar or duck breast with fennel and hazelnut pearl barley). There's plenty here for vegetarians, and salads like the quinoa and vegetable mix are as colorful as they are tasty. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about wine pairings.
