Fodor's Expert Review Naramata Inn
3625 1st St., British Columbia, V0H 1N0, Canada
At this hotel dating back to 1908, many of the Mission-style furnishings, wood floors, and claw-foot tubs are original, but plenty of the amenities—heated bathroom floors, fluffy duvets, central air-conditioning—are au courant. It's charming and full of nostalgic elegance. The spa is equally inviting, with a good range of services. There's also an on-site restaurant, The Restaurant at Naramata Inn, and wine bar, Eliza, both of which have a large selection of Okanagan wines.
PROS
- great choices at the wine bar
- soothing spa
- great location
CONS
- most guest rooms are small
- wait for the restaurant can be long
- a stay here can add up
