Eldorado Resort contains both Manteo and Hotel Eldorado—the Hotel Eldorado combines a 1926 building with a modern addition, making this boutiquey lakeside lodging one of Kelowna's more stylish options; the older "heritage" wing features rooms done up with 1930s-style furnishings, vintage radios, and claw-foot tubs. The spacious rooms in the new wing feel as if they belong in an upscale summer cottage, with cork floors and plush furnishings. Manteo is a striking Mediterranean-style resort, painted in vivid reds and ochres and sits on a sandy swimming beach directly on Okanagan Lake. Accommodations choices include rooms and suites—all with balconies—in the main building and two- and three-bedroom villas.
