Filled with intriguing nooks and crannies, this quirky Mediterranean-style villa has a gorgeous whitewashed exterior and sits on 48 rambling acres overlooking Skaha Lake. The spacious common rooms are crammed with an eclectic mix of antiques, plush cushions, and theatrical props; and you are free to use the large communal kitchen. The standard rooms are lovely, and of the four suites the Roofless Room is the most fun: the four-poster bed is sheltered under a canopy, but the rest of the room, including a fireplace, is open to the stars. Reservations are essential.
