$$$-$$$$, Banff National Park
Fodor's Review:
Now part of the Kananaskis Village built for the 1988 Olympics, this hotel started life as a Canadian Pacific luxury hotel. Rooms are large and lavish -- many have fireplaces, hot tubs, and sitting areas. Several restaurants, skewed toward elegance, serve everything from pizza and burgers to haute cuisine. For casual dining, try the Fireweed Grill, which serves a buffet-style breakfast; burgers for lunch; and chicken, salmon, beef tenderloin, and lamb chops for dinner.
