Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Review
With abundant recreational opportunities, this lakeside resort, 7 km (4½ mi) northeast of Jasper, is a destination in itself. Canoe rentals, golf, and horseback riding are available in the summer, and skate rentals, cross-country ski trails, tobogganing, and sleigh rides are offered in the winter. Guests love the year-round outdoor swimming pool, heated to 86°F in winter, and the 10,000-square-foot spa. The golf course has won numerous awards, and nearby Marmot Basin has world-class skiing. Accommodations vary from simple cedar chalets to expansive cabins with up to eight bedrooms. All have either a porch, patio, or balcony.
