Pyramid Lake Boat House. Canoes, rowboats, kayaks, paddleboats (all $20 per half hour), and electric boats ($89 per hour) are available at the Pyramid Lake Boat House at Pyramid Lake Resort. The company also sells fishing licenses and has rod and reel rentals. Tonquin Valley Adventures. Hiking, skiing, and horseback trips into the Tonquin Valley are offered by Tonquin Valley Adventures. In winter there's a private cabin with cooking equipment provided; in the summer there's a cook at the cabin. Alternative Adventures. This outfitter operates out of a camping resort 10 km (6.2 miles) west of Hinton on Hwy 16—about a 35-minute drive from Jasper. A variety of adventures including ziplining, hang-gliding instruction, paragliding instruction, power-kiting instruction, and eco-adventures are on offer.
