Jasper National Park

TRAVEL GUIDE

Jagged mountain peaks, shimmering glaciers, and crystal-clear lakes are just part of the incredible scenery that makes up the largest and wildest of Canada's Rocky Mountain parks. Situated along the eastern slopes of the Rockies in west-central Alberta, Jasper National Park is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife. Part of a collective UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jasper National Park is the planet's second-largest dark sky preserve. Light pollution is so minimal here that conditions are ideal for viewing the night sky, which both professional and amateur astronomers come here to do.
