Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre Review

The focal point of this ornate building in the heart of Chinatown is the Hall of Prayers of the Temple of Heaven; the column details and paintings include 561 dragons and 40 phoenixes. It's modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The center houses a cultural museum, an art gallery, a crafts store, an herbal-medicine store, and a 330-seat Chinese restaurant.

    If you are downtown anyhow...

You may as well stop by if you are in the downtown area! It is great for photography, beautiful decorations on the walls. The museum (downstairs) is small but interesting. The crafts store has excellent selection and the art gallery is nice.
