Le Beaujolais
Le Beaujolais Review
This French restaurant has been an oasis of fine wines, great food, and excellent service since 1980. On the second floor of a building at the corner of busy Banff Avenue and Buffalo Street, the atmosphere inside relaxes you with soft music, white tablecloths, and fresh flowers. Favorite dishes include such classics as whole Dover sole served tableside, a seafood medley from Canada's three oceans, and Alberta beef served with sautéed mushrooms. The wine list is the size of a phonebook, but the attentive servers are adept at recommending wine pairings. For a less costly and slightly more casual dining experience, try dining in the on-site bistro called Café de Paris.
