Fodor's Review

The location of this lodge in Kananaskis Country is second to none, and the numerous amenities, among them the large indoor pool, indoor-outdoor hot tub, tennis courts, eucalyptus-infused steam room, large fitness area, and spa, make it a destination in itself. Rooms are large, and many have fireplaces, hot tubs, and separate sitting areas. Rooms in the Signature Club building are a little larger than rooms elsewhere on the property and have extra amenities like free Internet, separate concierge service, Continental breakfast, and afternoon hors d'oeuvres. The several restaurants here serve everything from pizza to haute cuisine, and the Summit Spa offers treatments for both men and women. In summer you can rent bicycles in Kananaskis Village and enjoy miles of excellent trails, or enjoy a round of golf at the nearby golf course. The nearby Nakiska ski resort is popular with winter guests. There are children's activities during peak seasons.
